Many of the anonymous programs have a person called a SPONSOR.  A sponsor is to help you through the Anonymous book and answer any questions you may have.

Over the years, however, many women sponsors have gotten way too involved in the lives of the person in recovery.  Codependency happens.  Many of these  sponsors have even tried to interfere in their personal business and have caused divorces, chaos and mayhem.  

Hi, I'm Jane, and I have lived through some of the most interesting challenges with sponsors as I was getting sober.  I have also been a sponsor  and there is no greater joy than seeing someone get sober, but not only get sober, but find a lifelong  relationship with a very powerful God.  

I'm unashamedly a believer in the Christian faith, and so you will find my way of sponsoring someone totally unique.  Here at "Your Weekly Sponsor" we have created videos that should be viewed in sequence to help you find the answer that, hopefully, will keep you sober forever.
